Day
01: Arrive Trivandrum
You are met and transferred to Hotel. Kovalam is a sheltered bay of unusual
beauty.
Day 02: Kovalam Beach
Morning at leisure. Afternoon trip to Trivandrum and visit the Napier
Museum and Sri Chithra Art Gallery.
Day 03: Kovalam - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Arrive at Periyar Sanctuary on the border of Tamil Nadu, later in the
afternoon take a cruise on the lake. We will have an opportunity to see wild
elephants, Indian Gaur, monkeys, spotted, deer, barking deer, wild boar and
birds of myriad varieties.
Day 04: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - Munnar
We leave the Sanctuary in the f!oming to Munnar, a beautiful hill station
at an altitude of 5500 ft. on the Western Ghats of South India. Arrive
Munnar and check-in Hotel. Afternoons free to explore the beauty of Munnar.
Day 05:
Morning excursion to Rajamala and Nilgiri Tahr. Afternoon excursion to the
Top Station. This is the highest point on the Munnar Kodaikanal road. It
also offers a panoramic view of neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
Day
06 : Munnar - Kottayam - Alleppey - Cochin
We leave Munnar in the morning, enroute we pass through Kottayam and board
a special motor boat for the breathtaking backwater cruise of the Inland
Waterways and tropical lagoons and canals. At Alleppey -known as the "Venice
of the East" We leave our motor boat and complete our journey to Cochin
by road. Arrive and check in at Hotel.
Day 07 : Cochin
Called the "Queen of the Arabian Sea" because of its fine natural
harbour, Cochin is one of India's most interesting cities. In the morning we
will take a backwater cruise in the Cochin tropical lagoons. In the
afternoon there will be a sightseeing tour of Cochin and in the evening you
will be invited to witness KATHAKALI -the ancient and Traditional dance
drama of Kerala.
Day 08 :
Transfer either to Trivandrum Airport or Co chin airport to connect y our
onward flight.
