Day
1:
Arrive Madras Upon arrival meet and transfer to Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast half day city tour of Madras. Afternoon is free.
Day 3:
After breakfast leave by coach to Kancheepuram. Here you will visit the
looms that weave the world's famous silk sarees. It is the waters of this
city that give the raw silk yarn its rich lustrous sheen. We continue our
drive to Mahabalipuram.
Day 4:
After breakfast we depart for Pondicherry. Afternoon city tour.
Day 5:
After breakfast proceed to Tanjore enroute visit the temples at Ganga
Kondacholapuram and Kumbakonam. Afternoon city tour.
Day
6:
After breakfast drive to Tiruchirapalli -Popularly known as Trichy.
Afternoon tour of Trichuripalli.
Day 7:
After Breakfast we drive to Madurai - a city over 2000 years old.
Day 8:
After breakfast we continue our visits to the medieval Hindu wonders of
architecture. In the afternoon you can explore the markets, bazaars and silk
outlets. After dinner you will visit Meenakshi Temple to see the closing
ceremony.
Day 9:
After breakfast we drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary a tropical jungle
having a beautiful lake - is the home of wild elephants, Indian Guar,
Monkeys, Spotted deer, Wild Boar and many, many varieties of birdlife. In
the afternoon we visit this sanctuary by motorboat.
Day 10:
After breakfast drive to Allepy called the 'Venice of The East' on account
of its extensive canal network with bridges and canals. It is famous for its
water carnivals. Today we will make you to stay in a houseboat and your boat
will cruise through the backwaters of Kerela. These luxury houseboats cruise
into different world with boat vendors paddling the canals selling
everything from silks, vegetables to kerosene all this amount hundred of
quacking ducks. This cruise will show you the village activities, the
beautiful old temples and churches and the old fashioned Kerela.
Day
11:
After breakfast disembark from your houseboat and we proceed to
Cochin-called the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'.
Day 12:
After breakfast we tour this lagoon-studded town, where the red of the
earth contrast with the green forest to paint a gorgeous picture indeed. In
the afternoon cruise on the backwaters of Cochin where romance blends
perfectly with history. You will visit all the three islands Vypeen Island,
Bolgatty Islal and the Gundu Island.
Day 13:
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Bombay. On
arrival met and transferred to Hotel. Remainder day free to explore Bombay.
Day 14:
Today is free in Bombay until your transfer to the International Airport
for your next destination.
