The tour is a combination of beautiful textiles Orissa with visit to the tribal destinations of Orissa. You will visit some of the famous workshops and understand the techniques of weaving, natural printing and dyeing. Then we will move towards south of Orissa. We shall visit the villages, see the daily life, learn about various handicrafts and also get to see authentic textiles used by the tribes.

After a scrumptious breakfast at Hotel we leave for Puri enroute visiting Pipli, a unique village where the entire community is involved in appliqué work. Then continue your drive to Puri. In Evening visit the famous temple.

After breakfast leave for Dhenkanal enroute visit Raghurajpur crafts village. Continue your drive to Dhenkanal and check in at hotel.

After breakfast at Palace full day excursion to explore and interact with the traditional weaving and dokra tribal crafts village at Nuapatna and Sadeibarani and Joranda Mahima Cult.

Drive to Sambalpur en route visiting Sonepur Ikat Weaving village. Famous for Bomkai Saree or Sonepuri Saree.

After breakfast at Hotel we leave for an excursion to Bargarh to explore the weaving legacy of this place and its famous Sambalpuri Saree. After Bargarh visit Barpali n Barpali, there are more than 1,000 handlooms spread across several pockets of clusters, each at a distance of five kilometers from the other. Weavers in this part of Odisha are known for their original double ikat prints on cotton and Tasar silk.

Depart for weekly tribal market at Tokapal. Also visit the Bison Horn Marias - primary found in Baster region. the Bison Horn Maria s tribes are another major sub-caste of the Gonds.

After breakfast visit the Chitrakote Falls, local town and Bastar Museum. The waterfalls are on the Indravati River, are the widest in India and are truly spectacular during and after the monsoon. 96ft high, they are often compared by locals, with Niagara Falls but this should not be used as a comparison.

Depart for Jeypore en route visiting Kotpad weaving village. The Kotpad weavers, also called ‘Mirgan,’ make saris, gamchas and tuvals. Kotpad Handloom is a vegetable Dyed Fabric woven by the tribal weavers of Kotapad. The characteristics of natural dye coloring is derived from the AUL or madder dye extracted from the root of the Indian Madder tree.

Depart for weekly Thursday market of the Bondas at Onukudelli and also spend some time at the nearby Duduma waterfall and enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains and valleys close to the nature. Visit another ethnic tribal group of the Gadabbas.
