The hill station has many 3 and 5 star properties with breath taking mountain views. Batu CavesBatu Cave is one of the most visited attractions in Kuala Lumpur. It is a limestone hill comprising of 3 major caves and number of small caves. It is considered as a sacred Hindu site. There are about 272 stairs to reach top of the cave, but it is totally worth the effort to go up there to the huge cave at the top. All the stairs are painted in the color of rainbow and it is visual treat to watch it. The cave is most popular among the Tamil Shrines and is dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is also referred as 10th Caves or Hill for lord Murgan. There is an art gallery and Museum cave which houses numerous Hindu statues and paintings at the foot of Batu hill.
