Penang is both an island and a province which is stretched on the north western coast of Malaysia. It is famous for its soft sandy beaches is known as the food capital of Malaysia. The fresher climate made it a best-known tourist attraction. Kek Lok SiKek Lok Si temple was built by Beow Lean in year 1890. It is considered as one of the largest and most important pilgrimage Buddhist temple in Malaysia. The temple comprises of series of prayer halls, beautiful landscape, monasteries and gardens. The temple is divided into three sections. The middle section includes pagoda, gardens and temples. This temple is also known as “Temple of supreme bliss”.
Phuket is one of the most visited island in Thailand. It is a rain forested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches. There are many high-end resorts, restaurants and spa in the city. It also have old shophouses and busy night markets. Patong is the main resort town which has many discos, bars and nightclubs. The total are of 576 square kilometre comes under Phuket Province and it is the second-smallest province of Thailand. It is also one of the major trading routes between China and India. The major wealth is derived from rubber, tin and now from Tourism.The major attraction are as follows: Elephant SancturyExperience elephants in a whole new way. It is an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime. Big BuddhaBig Buddha is one of the most revered and important landmark on the island. The huge statue which is 45m tall sits on the top of the Nakkerd hill between Kata and Chalongbuilt in year 2004. The material used for construction is reinforced concrete, layered with beautiful Burmese white jade marble that sines in the sun. Just next to big Buddha temple is a small buddha statue made of brass. The site offers you a 360 degrees view of the island. The whole atmosphere here is very peaceful and you can hear sound of tinkling small bells. It is 6km away via road from Phuket’s main artery route.
